  1. Have a look at Nomada luteoloides. Not commonly recorded in the west but there's a few observations. It seems to come quite close, visually. Posted one year ago
    1. Interesting, from the size and body shape I’d never have thought it was a bee, but you are quite right, that looks very much the same. I’ll double check that we don’t have more species with those colors. Posted one year ago
      1. I also came across miner bees and mason bees with this wasp-like appearance, but none matched as closely as Nomada luteoloides. Posted one year ago
