It is Flammulina velutipes. Posted 11 years ago
1. Flammulina velutipes has a bald cap; the mushrooms in your photo do not
2. Flammulina velutipes has whitish, crowded gills attached to the stem; your mushrooms have orange gills
3. The stipe of Flammulina velutipes starts out pale and then turns brown with age; it doesn't have a ring, is smooth and velvety. The mushrooms in your photo don't match these characteristics.
I'm not sure what the correct ID would be, but Armillaria borealis is a possibility. Posted 2 years ago, modified 2 years ago
I agree with you. I don't know shall I find the correct ID, but I'll make additional research. Fungi are not my favorite subjects.-:) Posted 2 years ago
