    Amazing!
    But are you sure that you found a species that is only found in North America in Austria? There are several very similar-looking Erebia species in Europe that cannot easily be distinguished from another without looking at the hindwing underside.

    Just have a look at this list of central European Satyrinae (the Erebia are at the bottom):
