Tiniest timber moth No more than 10 mm in length, I spotted this beautiful timber moth, genus Xylorycta, at the time resting deep within Leptospermum cordifolium (Proteaceae).<br />

I learned that this genus can be found here in Australia and also in Africa and as their common name alludes, larvae bore in to branches of plants within Proteaceae. <br />
