A naked moth
The neighbor's cat has been bringing me specimens again. Unfortunately, the naked one I can only guess on an ID. She beat the fluff out of it. I stumbled upon this one at 3a.m. This cat hates her home and leaves offerings and tries to break in the house. Her way of bribery. I feed her though.
I'm going by the shape and the color of the face and the shape of the wings. I'd cross references with ones in California. Achemon Sphinx (Eumorpha achemon),seems the closest. I have the white-lined specimen which I originally thought it was. It's there as a reference. Cat's trophies.
