Ambush Bug Nymph - Phymata sp., maybe Phymata fasciata

I found this little baby while inspecting the wild carrot (Daucus carota) growing in a meadow. I was drawn to this one because it was so pink and was happy to find this nymph poised on top.

  There were several flowers with these nymphs, which was weird because I rarely see nymphs, but always see the adults. This time, it was the opposite -- all nymphs and no adults. Posted 2 years ago
