Dead Frog - Lithobates sp.
I'm not sure of the species ID. I found this frog as it is shown in the photo -- dead and dried up and resting on a walkway. It didn't look like it had been attacked, so I'm not sure why it died. Why would it crawl up on the wood and just randomly die? It was so dry that the skin was like leather.
Habitat: Mesic forest/wetland
