The arrowfly is a seasonal fly. The female sucks blood from humans or any living being to feed until the breeding process is completed successfully in the autumn season of each year. The size of the fly is much less than 1 mm. The arrowroot insect is found in the south of the Sultanate of Oman, Dhofar Governorate. In general, this insect is distinguished by its painful sting and causes itching. It is preferable not to scratch so that the pain does not multiply, as the female stings in order to suck blood. The lionfish also has environmental benefits, such as overgrazing. خالد فرج الوضيحي
