Stink Ants (Tapinoma sessile) I found groups of these ants attacking/feasting on other insects. I found groups of these ants attacking/feasting on other insects. I think their prey here was a beetle.

Stink Ants (Tapinoma sessile) This was disturbing as the hopper (teneral, I think) was still alive, but couldn't fight off the ants. The Odorous House Ant

"Tapinoma sessile" is a species of small ant. Their colonies are polydomous and polygynous. Like many social insects, "T. sessile" employs complex foraging strategies, allocates food depending on environmental conditions, and engages in competition with other insects.
