  1. It looks like a dry season form of Evening Brown - Melanitis sp., but which one... Identification from the underside alone is unreliable.

  2. Good snaps Shubham, but try to identify the species by googling with its visible features. Photography becomes more interesting once you start identifying the species. Good luck. Posted 11 years ago

  4. Googling would not really be necessary in this case, because I have narrowed the options down to 3 species and provided a reference for them. If you have another shot where at least a little more of the upper side of the wings is visible, you can compare the spots and identify the correct species or upload the photo if you are not sure about it.
