Thanks for setting the location. Note that the suggested species does not seem to occur in Australia:

This one is a possibility as well. Images I found on INaturalist’s look very much like it,but no distribution found for Australia. Posted 2 years ago

Ernst, I'm leaving the ID off for now bc Modicogryllus frontalis and Eumodicogryllus bordigalensis are both European species. I agree yours really looks a lot like Eumodicogryllus bordigalensis, though. I searched, but couldn't find a comparable species for Australia. So, we'll wait to see what Ferdy thinks.
