    ...as far as I can tell. Agreed with the visual similarity though.

  4. Ernst, I'm leaving the ID off for now bc Modicogryllus frontalis and Eumodicogryllus bordigalensis are both European species. I agree yours really looks a lot like Eumodicogryllus bordigalensis, though. I searched, but couldn't find a comparable species for Australia. So, we'll wait to see what Ferdy thinks.
