
Russula subdepallens
I always hesitate to ID Russulas to species-level, but here is the reasoning for this ID:
Cap: Relatively large with shallowly sunken center; bright red with yellowish blotches; a bit wrinkled near margins
Gills: White and fragile, attached, narrow near stem
Stipe: Equal, white, chalky
Odor: None detected
Habitat: Growing alone on humus under oak and other hardwoods; deciduous forest
Similar species: Russulales
