E is quite similar, which I think is Automolius depressus. I can't find any info about it or its distribution, though:

1. Your beetle is hairy, while P. macleayi is not,
2. P. macleayi has striae on the elytra, while your beetle doesn't appear to,
3. The color pattern is different (unless P. macleayi has a lot of individual variation) -- P. macleayi has a orange-brown pronotum and top half of the elytra with the posterior end of the elytra being dark, while your beetle has the opposite pattern.

But, I don't know that Automolius sp. is correct either because there are some similar genera, such as Liparetrus:
