A Small Chiton! This small chiton is more than likely Gould&rsquo;s Baby Chiton. It is quite common in our intertidal region. Although common it is not often seen because of its small size, up to 2.7cm. This little guy was 1.5cm. It was under a rock that I lifted to see what was there! The rock was carefully replaced. <br />

  1. Awesome! Everytime I see one I have to search to remind me what a chiton is. Posted 3 years ago
    1. I am sure it would be different if you lived where they are more plentiful. Having said that they still are not found unless you start turning rocks over. All part of the fun! Posted 3 years ago
