  1. A great shot, especially given your 1000 ISO shot. Warm colours that do warm my heart. I especially like the wetness and dark intensity of the branch they stuck to, still showing off new buds here and there. Do you also eat some of the species in India? We learned from a woman originating in the eastern parts of Europe. Posted 11 years ago
    1. Yes, we do eat mushrooms, but they are cultivated white mushroom, I don't have that much information to the family which they belong to. I have seen some people collecting them from forest and selling, but I have not tried them yet. During my studies I learnt that colored mushrooms are poisonous, that's why I never try the wild one's. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the species name yet even after long investigation, this one seems to be real rare one, i believe.

      2. This doesn't look right... Fomitopsis pinicola are bigger and have a different shape. These are very thin and look more like Trametes, but it could be something else. Posted 11 years ago
