  1. Is it on tansy? It looks like a geometer caterpillar to me. I see similarities to Eupithecia sp., but it could be another genus. Posted 3 years ago
    1. Indeed it’s tansy. I’ll have a look when I get home, but we have a lot of geometrids here… if I’m lucky the color should make it stand out - though it could also be acquired from a diet of bright yellow flowers.. Posted 3 years ago, modified 3 years ago
      1. I looked in my caterpillar ID book, but it only covers the eastern US and I didn't see any matches. And, as you said, there are a LOT of species. There are some similar loopers in the subf. Plusiinae, but I don't know if I have ever seen any yellow ones. Posted 3 years ago
