Found this specimen under the rain forest, near Maharashtra, the place from belgaum karnataka India. These species found less and rare to see. the specimen looks red carpet in the forest trunk zone, these are purely terrestrial forms.

  1. I agree that this might be Clavulinopsis sulcata (old name is Clavaria miniata). But, that species is usually a bit more wrinkled. It might also be Clavulinopsis corallinorosacea, which is another similar species that is also rare and would be unusual for India. Overall, I'm not sure. Posted 3 years ago
    1. I forgotten to take the microscopic investigation on it really it is new one or else, exactly we cant assign it, I think so... The Clavulinopsis corallinorosacea is different in structure, will check if i get it back when i visited the same place, possibly w will get the fungal specimen where they have been spotted since our first visit.
