Ichneumon wasp

I spotted this hanging out on the fuschia the other day. I haven’t seen one before but I think it may be an ichneumon wasp

Yes, definitely looks like an icheumon wasp, likely in the Ichneumon genus, and possibly specifically the species Ichneumon confusor, but not 100% sure. Posted 3 years ago
