Xylocopa caerulea - sci-fi edition Consider this a non-serious &quot;for fun&quot; image. For this reason, I will not identify the species. This is just a test image from when I first added my continuous lights to my extreme macro setup, which is discussed at length here:<br />

Said lights allow for all kinds of accessoiries, including color filters. As I have multiple lights, it becomes possible to create outrageous and extravagant images like this. In this case, one light serves as global illumination in blue (large diffuser) whilst a pin light (honeycomb) adds the red accent.<br />
