  1. So cute and fluffy! Posted 3 years ago
    1. The fuzz makes it endearing, which is probably not a quality usually attributed to a hornet. ;) Posted 3 years ago
      1. Yes, and they can actually be cute, right? but I think wasps and hornets unfortunately have a bit too much bad rep and it is sadly overlooked that they are also very needed for the equilibrium of their environment in certain ways, for example also as pollinators :-) Posted 3 years ago
        1. They definitely play an important role in nature and are unfairly vilified. Although, I got stung 17 times by wasps (at once) last autumn and am a bit skittish around wasps at present. Posted 3 years ago
          1. Oh, that would be enough times to hold a bit of a grudge :-D but I was once also followed by a swarm of bees here in Belgium, me and my husband got too close to a hive and paid the price. they were getting inside my then long hair and reaching the skin to sting me and they succeded! my head was all bumpy for a while, thank God not the face :-D but I still like bees! :-) Posted 3 years ago
            1. They got stuck in my hair too! Poor things. Posted 3 years ago
