Tiny diptera in flight, Heesch, Netherlands Strange odds at work here. I was slowly approaching this tiny subject without even knowing what it was, I estimate it at 5mm tops. It got spooked when flash triggered and by chance directly flew into the focal plane, which in this case is about 2mm deep. <br />
