Eastern Phoebe - Sayornis phoebe This poor bird (and its mate) was so annoyed at me. I had been hiking and came upon a bird blind. I was tired and decided to sit for a few minutes. I didn't realize they had a nest in the blind, but they were very blunt with their displeasure as they continuously chirped at me and flew at my head. I felt so bad for the stress that I caused them that I left, but not before getting a few photos of these little characters. They will make excellent parents, no doubt.

I only had my macro lens with me as I didn't intend to do any birding.
