Really hard to visually ID fungi, especially generic looking ones. I even have a book with detailed descriptions of many species, and still find it too hard to come to a single unique species almost every time.

The only thing that worked for me is to find deep experts, many hang out in particular Facebook groups. Posted 3 years ago
