Another Photo! It seems that some of my most favourite photos are the ones where the subject is looking back at me as this male Audubon&rsquo;s Warbler is doing. I didn&rsquo;t realize there was a separate section for this subspecies and placed the other photo in the Yellow-rumped Warbler section.<br />

He was in competition with the aerial insectivores, the Violet-green Swallows which were too fast for my eyes and my camera!<br />

It seems that some of my most favourite photos are the ones where the subject is looking back at me as this male Audubon’s Warbler is doing. I didn’t realize there was a separate section for this subspecies and placed the other photo in the Yellow-rumped Warbler section.

A Male Audubon’s Warbler Seems as if birders in this area hardly ever use the term “Yellow-Rumped Warbler”! It’s always an Audubon’s! The scientific name says it all, Setophaga coronata auduboni. This one was foraging around a beaver pond looking for insects. He was in competition with the aerial insectivores, the Violet-green Swallows which were too fast for my eyes and my camera!<br />
