Rock Bristletail, Los Cedros Reserve, Ecuador Not a great photo but a small personal highlight. I&#039;ve never seen or photographed a bristletail before. This seems typical for most of us as we have only 16 photos of the entire order, all made by just 2 users:<br />

Possibly family Meinertellidae.

    1. I don't know the ID, but it might be in the family Meinertellidae. I read that they can be found in Ecuador. And, Neomachilellus sp. in S. America, but good luck finding photos of it. I assume bristletails are hard to ID. Posted 3 years ago
      1. I've read they are cosmopolitan, but still not often seen. I guess they largely spent their days in hiding. Thanks for the family/genus, any bit helps. Posted 3 years ago
