help to identify please. Need help identifying. it might be a spotted bush snake, green tree snake or perhaps a green mamba. the photo was taken on a trip to the Gambia. fairly dense wooded area near the coast. the 2 snakes in the picture are small maximum 12 inches, probably juvenile.   1. Tricky one. I'm not at all a snake expert, but genus Philothamnus looks a good direction. I think the spotted bush snake can likely be excluded as on most photos of that species, it actually has clear spots. As for which one comes closer, I'm sorry, but there's too little information out there that I can find for this area. Posted 3 years ago
