  1. No report of this species in Malaysia, so doubtful this is the correct ID.

    Please don't be discouraged. Fungi are some of the hardest to identify. It's best to not identify them until at least the following is clear:

    - visual match (not just superficially similar, has to be very close)
    - has to occur in the region
    - same substrate (what it grows on)
    - need photos of key angles, such as gills

    Without these 4 things, you cannot reliably identify a fungus. Even with those 4 things it's sometimes difficult or impossible. My recommendation is to not identify them here unless you have the above 4 things. Then the community may be able to help bring it closer to species level. It's also good to explore local experts, for example Facebook groups for fungi in Asia.
