    Not entirely convinced by this species ID, even though I see some visual resemblance. This species has never been reported anywhere in Asia on the major platforms. Posted 3 years ago

        Thanks. I'm still not convinced though. I checked several reference photos and it seems Rhinia apicalis has banded/striped eyes, not shown on your photo. It's hard to be sure though, flies can be difficult to identify and I'm clearly not an expert. Posted 3 years ago
