Coming out to investigate A small sized Spider appeared at the entrance to investigate who has been &#039;knocking&#039; on it&#039;s door!<br />
But actually, the spider was trying to close back the &#039;trapdoor&#039; which it did.<br />

Coming out to investigate

A small sized Spider appeared at the entrance to investigate who has been 'knocking' on it's door!
But actually, the spider was trying to close back the 'trapdoor' which it did.

      A rare find, so decided to make proper documentation of it :D
      This was the 2nd Trapdoor species I have encountered at my hometown, the other is much more easier to find at selected locations as it is bigger species, hence the trapdoor are also bigger.

      Unfortunately, this Trapdoor Spiders are highly sought by Hobbyists and they do fetch a very high price. Rightfully, they should be listed as Endangered, but typical of the small critters, they are often overlooked in term of conservations.
