          Psammisia sodiroi seems much more reported than Psammisia oreogenes, so is statistically more likely, but don't know how to tell them apart visually. Macleania seems to open a few more candidates.

          Still, these genuses are very useful to know about, even more so because I think I might have more photos later in the set that may belong to it. Thanks!           Posted 3 years ago

            You're welcome! I was convinced of Psammisia until seeing Macleania. But, as you said...good to have the candidates, at least. Oh, and to find the ID, I did a google image search for "flowers that look like peppers Bellavista Ecuador", lol. Posted 3 years ago
