Golden Emperor Moths - Loepa sp. Was doing a bit of birding and following a Red-Headed Trogon when the bird perched on an electrical wire, which make me noticed this gorgeous Emperor Moth resting near the top of an electrical pole up around 20 feet!<br /> <br /> Fortunately this is a large size allowing me to take a decent picture of it. Golden Emperor Moths - Loepa sp.

Was doing a bit of birding and following a Red-Headed Trogon when the bird perched on an electrical wire, which make me noticed this gorgeous Emperor Moth resting near the top of an electrical pole up around 20 feet!

Fortunately this is a large size allowing me to take a decent picture of it.
