This is the second occasion that I noticed the 'hairy' stuff on the compound eyes. The other one was on a nymph of Assassin Bug, but couldn't get good pic of it as the nymph is tiny in size. Posted 3 years ago
- to act as eyelashes thus keeping debris off their eyes
-to help them clean their eyes when they rub them with their feet
-to reduce the amount of air that hits their eyes as they fly
