  1. Weird...do you think the fern die off is related to fungus? Or, have you had drought? Posted 3 years ago
    1. We had a particularly hot summer this year, but the fern die off started a few years ago. The thought is that it is a plant pathogen of some sort, but no one was ever able to pinpoint exactly what. It didn't affect the entire population of the park and they are starting to come back in the denuded patches - but it takes some time for them to grow to full size. Posted 3 years ago
