Ichneumon Wasp (Barylypa propugnator)     What an impressive wasp this is and although I only saw it for a minute or so just outside my front door, it left quite an impression.<br />

It&#039;s taken me since July to get a confirmed ID, which isn&#039;t surprising since it came down to minute details.<br />

13 to 20 mm. Fairly large orange and black Ichneumon.
