
Thioniini?
I love these little ones, the are so peculiar with those "spikes" on the bottom and with those expressive eyes. And they are so tiny! This was the only blue one I have ever seen and it only gave me time to take two shots, thankfully one was in focus :-D

Good that you found the manual species request option. Do note that for moderators to create a species record, identification needs to be at species level. Thioniini is not a singular species, instead a tribe of multiple species. So it's not specific enough to create the record.
No worries, sometimes it's not possible to get to the species level, and then we just describe what we do know in the title and description. Posted 3 years ago
