    1. I think the genus is definitely correct. As for the species, I have some doubt.

      Emerita is geographically a good candidate. However, correbioides seems a closer visual match, yet is less of a regional match.

      The partical visual difference I'm seeing is that emerita seems to have 3 vertical bands at the thorax, or at least other photos suggest this. Your photo does not show these extra 2 bands. Correbioides also doesn't have these bands, so looks like a closer match.

      Note that this is just a visual check, I'm not sure how meaningful these differences are or whether they are conclusive.
