Dark Crimson Underwing on grass, Heesch, Netherlands

Got lucky here. I did two small sessions, two nights in a row. The second night largely produced the same species as the first (given our limited garden habitat) so I quickly lost interest. Just as I was about to end it, this one came along. It was very restless, jumping between the cloth and the grass below.

According to Dutch Wikipedia, this species is very rare in the Netherlands and Belgium. I suspect that information may be somewhat outdated.
