
Peach-leaved Bellflower - Campanula persicifolia

Habitat: Growing near the top of a mountain in the Adirondack Mountains -- I'm not sure what the exact location was because we were mountain hiking.
*The Adirondack mountains are located in northeastern New York and contains more than 6 million acres of forests, including mountains, wetlands, and old-growth forests.

"Campanula persicifolia" is a flowering plant species in the family Campanulaceae. It is an herbaceous perennial growing to 1 m. Its flowers are cup-shaped and can be either lilac-blue or white. Its foliage is narrow and glossy with a bright green appearance.
