
Hestimodema sp. prowling spider
Spiders within family Miturgidae are prowling hunters (hence their common name) and do not create a web. They are known to prey on caterpillars and flies.
This species seen here superficially resembles a wolf spider, but has an entirely different eye pattern. It is a male, around 5 mm body length. Genus Hestimodema.
