Tortricid Eggs Tiny patch of scale-like eggs on a stainless steel refrigerator (outdoors) at a mixed forest edge. I thought it was a spot of rust; THAT is just how small these were. Updated: Just checked on these, and almost all of the cells are empty. There are two cells with tiny larvae inside though. I&#039;ll post photos of it later!<br />

My suspicion is that this is the Tortricid mommy that laid the eggs:<br />

    1. aren't they wild? They are all (but one) emptied now. There is a tiny caterpillar left in one of the cells, but I'm wondering if it is unviable? I'll post a photo once I get some energy Posted 4 years ago
