Emerging Damselfy - Chromagrion conditum
The adult damselfly had just finished emerging from its nymphal stage. The exuvia is right below the adult. Its wings hadn't extended yet and were so awesome-looking.
Habitat: Small wooden footbridge in a wetland. This bridge had a bunch of damselflies in different stages of emergence.

The Aurora Damsel is the only member of its genus. The males are blue on segments 8 and 9 of the abdomen, while on the females those segments are brown and black. Both sexes have yellow on the sides of the thorax.
