Ostracod? I collected this teeny tiny critter from a swamp (freshwater). It was about ~0.5 mm in length, maybe smaller.  They have flattened bodies that are protected by a bivalve-like &quot;shell&quot;.<br />

Ostracod?

I collected this teeny tiny critter from a swamp (freshwater). It was about ~0.5 mm in length, maybe smaller. They have flattened bodies that are protected by a bivalve-like "shell".
