Black-veined White Another close encounter. This fellow came into the car and landed upon my jeans. I am not sure whether there is something wrong with it's proboscis or it is just cleaning it's head. There's one more strange thing about this butterfly - it must be a yogi, because one of it's right legs is passing behind it's head to the left and it is not there on the previous photos. "Aporia crataegi", the black-veined white, is a large butterfly of the family Pieridae.
