Strange cocoons and caterpillar
Tunnel-like cocoons found in old shed at local allotments. They were between two pieces of wood that look as if they have been nibbled or drilled. The cocoon things were eventually found all over the shed, in the roof and under the floor.
Inside a very tough fibrous, almost silky tunnel was the yellow caterpillar. Any ideas please.

I have followed your link and also researched wax moths. They are very damaging to bees and will kill off whole hives as well as destroying bumblebee nests Posted 4 years ago
