  1. Although similar, I don't think this is a BMSB. It doesn't have white bands on the antennae, the tip of the abdomen is too rounded, the banded pattern on the margin of the abdomen is different, the markings on the dorsal surface are different, and the femurs are not speckled. But, I'm not sure what this is. Maybe Dictyotus sp.? Hopefully someone else can give some further insight. Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago

    3. Howdy, neither one of the suggestions seems to fit IMHO.
      Look at the white calluses on the corium

      To me on a quick hunch Platycoris (Hypogomphus) bipunctatus comes close, but you would need to check if macropterous specimen are known, or if there are other species of Platycoris in the area
