  1. How wonderful to come across a pair like this. Tharrhalea variabilis, evanida and multopunctata are impossible to tell apart in the field and even with a microscope, (armed with the recent revision by Pawel Szymkowiak), hard to separate. Posted 4 years ago

      You are correct in pointing out the confusion about species in that species and that microscopic identification is the only sure way.
