  1. I am a fortunate soul having seen these predatory birds in the wild, in the Pantanal of Brazil:

    Crested Caracara on the ground Caracaras do not shy away from the ground to search for small mammals. It has long yellow legs fit for walking and even running. Bird of prey,Birds,Brazil,Crested Caracara,Pantanal


    It seems to spend more time on the ground than in the air.
