Damselfly Nymph - Suborder Zygoptera This is a sad example of what can happen if you aren&#039;t gentle enough with a fragile creature. I used forceps to push the larva a bit to encourage it to change positions, and accidentally poked it, causing its guts to leak out. It was horrifying, but I imagine even more so for the damselfly.<br />
