  1. Hi Niel.
    Sometimes a species is not in the system and it will reject it .If you sure about your identification then it lets you put in a manual search to be done by people like Ferdy or others wo are more experienced . That does not mean that they will be correct. The best then is to look at it over time and change it later when more evidence comes up. In your case with Grassator and mordax it helps to check the distribution of the species and I use for that the Website Atlas of Living Australia. Check that if you can as it will give you a chance to evaluate by distribution. I checked grassator just now and it looks like being from the immediate Sydney area .Have a go at it. I would for now leave mordax on but still it might change as info comes in..Also have a look at my entry of that species which I found in Galston near Dural and you can compare them. But I will now start looking at my entry as it could be grassator because of the distribution but they could maybe overlap.
