Hypena scabra I took this picture in November 2020 and just found it is in the Hypena Genus as ID'd by someone on iNaturalist. This species is plentiful in Texas. It is perched on a window screen facing East.  Sorry for the poor quality of the photo, it was very bright sun and had to manipulate the photo a lot to reduce gamma. The Green Cloverworm or Black Snout is a moth of the Erebidae family. It is found from Canada south to Florida and Texas. It has also been reported from Great Britain.
